Faith
and the Muse would like to express their deepest gratitude to the
promoters J. Angel, and his crew: Alex, Alfredo, Luz, Fernando and
Santiago, who finally brought Faith and the Muse to Mexico after
10 years of trying to get there! Faith and the Muse flew to Mexico
City November 30th, along with The
Deadfly Ensemble, also from Los Angeles, featuring
Lucas from Cinema Strange. The two bands had an instant rapport
and became fast friends. F&TM was also accompanied by their
long-time friend, artist/designer Crispin
Bixler.

1st , 2005: The first evening featured an autograph
session at Salon Los Angeles, with both bands present to sign CD
booklets, posters, photos, and even shirts. The Mexican fans were
absolutely wonderful, and every one expressed their elation that
F&TM had finally come to perform. Some brought personal notes
and gifts, which were heartfelt and meant a great deal to the band.

2nd, 2005: Salon Los Angeles: The crowd was electric
and so welcoming. Opening the show was local band, Immum
Coeli, who performed a spirited set of classic Darkwave. The
Deadfly Ensemble then brought their fantastic Avante Garde cabaret
to the stage to the delight of the fans. And as this was the very
first time performing in Mexico, F&TM chose a set featuring
songs from every album and for their fans who came to this event:
Romeo's Distress! Angel surprised the band with two large
Deco Cross banners for the show, adding a very special atmosphere
to the stage. Alongside William and Monica, F&TM featured Jeremy
George on drums and percussion, Cynthia
Coulter on bass and percussion, and Douglas
Hirai on guitar. Michel Ebers also flew in from Germany to do
sound.

3rd, 2005: The bands came out to Club Dos97,
where the promoters were the deejays, playing a great assortment
of old and new school goth, electro, and darkwave music. William
Faith also did a special deejay slot, with a set that included
everything from Adam and the Ants, Juno Reactor, and T Rex
to Mother Destruction, Killing Joke and Chameleons UK. Fans
had a chance to sit down and speak with the bands, and expressed
how much they enjoyed the show.
