The Ars Terra Official Website as almost up and running!

Ars Terra is William and Monica's Homestead and future Eco-Animal Sanctuary, the misson and focus of which is to educate the public about Whole Living; the path of living in complete harmony with our environment and all living creatures.

All animals will be rescued from factory farms - with William and Monica's extensive and ongoing experience in sanctuary and rescue, as well as the healthcare and feeding of rescued farm animals, and - having completed their certification in Permaculture.

The goal is to create a new kind of sanctuary, one where rescued animals will be given the most natural surroundings and food possible. Because living models provide the most convincing testimony, the goals of Ars Terra are:

• Providing beautiful habitat, natural food and proper care for animals rescued from the horror of the factory farm

• Extensive organic gardens - producing the vast majority of our own food and fiber right on site for our rescued animals

• Alternative building techniques and materials - for our barns (such as cob, strawbale and earthbag)

• Off-grid power from wind and solar

• Natural water cycling

• Teaching all these techniques to the public through an eye-opening and soul-stirring course and workshop schedule designed to bring sustainable and regenerative concepts into real world applicatione.
